its clear why taekwondo lost... its like 90% kicking and 10% punching, fast high kicks like that waste a ton of energy, but karate is 50/50, smart and strong. it doesnt just pop out kicks like HIYAAAAAHHHHHHH, it knows what its doing, its clear why karate won

doy you even know what wtf is, its not a style, its an acronym world tae kwon do federation, it uses original korean tae kwon do, built for self-defense, not cardio excersise.

its hard to say that one martial is better than another, it depends on the individiul, its like saying, who would win? a swimmer, or a football athlete, different martial arts were invented for different purposes, tae kwon do focuses alot on kicking because it was used to over-throw japanese rulers who had taken over korea, and the japanese troops mostly rode horses (at the time) so, high-flying kicks were most important. I cant relly say all that id like to with such a short character limit.

Kyokushin karate is the Strongest & tougest form of karate there is, and the kumite thing. kyokushinist's don't really do kumite Its all full contact.

I would like to point out that its really silly to compare these two arts in a ring situation, they are playing by rules. In no holds barred situation this fight would have looked very different.

teakwando is the MOST useless martial art, compared to others. Kick = a risk of falling, and teakwando is all about kickin, so that's it.

Actually, A kick can do a lot more damage than a punch. The human leg is both longer and stronger then the arm, so you have more reach and more force. You can't really compare Karate to taekwondo either because in taekwondo sparring, punches generally don't count, so we don't use them. This makes the sparring too different to compare. Also, this taekwondo guy wasn't too good at sparring. Dont go and say that taekwondo is useless unless your trained in it and know how to use it properly

SnipeZ850, sLOLsxD. I can understand why you feel that way, but what you guys arent seeing is that this is WTF TaeKwon Do in this Fight. You cant base a decision about a Martial art as a whole on one Style of of. ITF, The Original Style formed by the founder of TaeKwon Do,General Choi, has a far more evenly structured format, with 60% Kicking and 40% Punching. Also, TaeKwon Do is partly based on Karate as General Choi Studied Karate and used its greatest assets to create TaeKwon Do...
