twat, the only way to get the job done in a proper logistics unit is to work as a team, watch guys do the unsung work in any supply/trucker compound, or on a convoy and tell me you don't need teamwork, our asses are on the line as well. Yes that does mean you will likely get shot at whether you are an infantier or a logistician, get used to it

im thinking of joining the army but im gonna have to go to my local recruiting center to get couple stuff sorted out.. im deaf only50-60% deaf and i know im mentaly and physically up for the challenge but if anyone who sees this can maybe give me advice if i can join or not if i cant ill be upset but its probaly for good reasons if so then ooh-rah here i come:P

If you are 50-60% Deaf, I would talk to the recruiter and make that apparent right away. I know people who have a lack of hearing in an ear, who are in the Military, but talk to your recruiter who will most likely send you to a doctor to have them fill out the specifics which you will then hand in and will be sent up to NDHQ in Ottawa.
I did a similar thing, but mine was with my eyes. Disqualified me for the trade of choice but got in a better one.

Thanx for the info Didnt know that. I just had my apptitude test today and I passed few. But they were not happy with the amout I drink and the fact that I smoked pot within the last few month but the recriuter was very nice and just delayed my interview a month. I was a litle upset but she said I can still be in by mid to late febuarary so that just gives me more time to get in shape I guess. But thanx for the comment.

However, I can advise you that (reservists) soldiers must go through to pre-deployment work up training (6-10 months) prior to their deployment to Afghanistan.
