I am putting this up as a sample of the movie Devdas because it is a fantastic movie and I hope this will inspire people to get the movie.
In this scene the man and women are making a bet whether or not Devdas will show up. The women is a prostitute (think along the lines of a Geisha, no sex just dancing and singing) If Devdas doesn't show up Chandramukhi (women) will become the mans personal dancer. If he does show then she will hav
e disgraced him and will make him dance wearing the bells she is holding. Sorry there are no subtitles, the subtitled version I had was low quality and bad subbing. Hope you enjoy this. ^_^

god i bet ur all fucking pakistani muslims who cant appreciate anything unless its from their country or religion. i love hindi, its much softer, and flows better, the words are beautiful. urdu is nice but its too choppy. hindi and urdu are mixes of each other, im sure lots of people speak urdu with hindi words. you fucking muslims find a life.

Remember, India and Pakistan used to be one country, so it makes a lot of sense that we all speak Hindi/Urdu which sounds the same in daily speech and movies. That is why it's even possible that we can have these disagreements. But the pure forms of these languages, like scholarly and literary work (and newscasts), are VERY different. Which is what I said in my previous post, so I don't see what point you're trying to prove by bringing this up so many times.
