what ? which machine d you use? wich dddr 1,2 or 3? Perhaps I had a virus? Bug? I have a MIME error when I created a association to open flash videos from youtube (.FLVs). Now everitime I rsetart and run KDE 3.5.10 or an app 5-6 MIME Error Type windows appear! Annoying! I delete that association but nitthing happens. The same happens in KDE 4.1.2, ecpet when loading (only when start some apps). Why you said Windows has more support tha Linux? Linux support is free, so it can reach more people.

As I investigate and post in other language than mine to extenuation and since that (really since 2004-5) inform me about Linux and on August 2008 I download and test U/Kubuntu 8.04. So I think that is another (as many in computing hard/software and in Linux too) Windows XP X-File and I would like to know the reason why happens (and other Winbugs bugs). Well then Genius..Linux can be faster on certain systems, since it just requires less of ur pc..try running XP on pentium2, won't work, try linux, will work :) U can run 98 on pentium2 but then u can't use the browser... :D Ok, not saying i prefere linux, since for games it really blows...i got both of em, and not gonna say once beter then the other one. But hey..Get a fast pc and who the fuck will care about the few milisecond one is faster then the other? :D

I have half a Gig right now, and Ubuntu runs fine with the default configuration. Compiz-Fusion doesn't have a big effect on how much RAM you need.

It mostly depends on having a good graphics card, and my Geforce 7900 GS runs it fine. Though sometimes my OpenGL apps lag after a while. But since Linux isn't stupid, I can just reset Compiz without even closing any programs.
